Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

1. What this covers

This policy explains the cookies galiluna.com sets on your device and why. It covers our own marketing site and app (galiluna.com); it does not cover pages your organization publishes with GaliLuna, since those are your content and any tracking you attach to them is governed by your own policies (see the Terms, section 8).

2. Strictly necessary cookies

We set one authentication cookie to keep you signed in. It is required for the Service to work and cannot be turned off; it does not track you across other websites.

CookiePurposeDuration

gl_consentRemembers your cookie preference so we don't ask again every visit180 days
3. Analytics cookies (optional)

With your permission, we use Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use our website: which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, what device and browser they use, an approximate location derived from IP address (the full address is not stored by us), and which site or ad referred the visit. We use this only to improve the platform and to measure whether our own marketing is working. We do not sell this data or use it to build advertising profiles of you elsewhere.

CookiePurposeDuration
_gaDistinguishes visitors for Google AnalyticsUp to 2 years
_ga_<container-id>Persists a visitor's Google Analytics session stateUp to 2 years

Retention. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics account's configured retention window, applied to Google's systems, not a database we operate ourselves.

4. Advertising cookies

We do not currently run any advertising or remarketing cookies. If that changes (for example, if we start measuring Google Ads conversions), we will update this policy first and ask for your consent through the same cookie banner before any such cookie is set.

5. Your choices

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Rejecting analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the Service; the sign-in cookie is unaffected either way.

6. More information

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your account and content data generally, and our Terms and Conditions. If you have questions about this policy, open a support ticket from your account.
